Amelia Morelos, Bulacan

Amelia’s garden ornamentals and landscaping business which she founded in 2006 was deeply affected by the pandemic yet this did not deter her from persevering. She took this opportunity instead to install screen protections to their plants as they expected a rise in demand for these after the pandemic. Even during the financially tight situation brought about by COVID, Amelia was still able to pay her workers.

Amelia reinvested 80% of her annual profit for the growth of her business. Currently, her business has two sites in their community where her garden ornamentals grow and are lovingly taken care of. For Amelia, it is very important to establish a good relationship and open communication with her employees, just like how they look after her plants.
